2015 bridal designers and their collections have already hit the runways and this Spring the wedding dress trends are more dazzling than ever. Ines Di Santo, Vera Wang, Larazo and many more produced some absolute stunning gowns for this season. Here are just a few of some of Spring 2015’s wedding dress trends.
One of my favorite aspects of some of the gowns that made it to the runway this Spring, had high necklines and beautiful collars. Maggie Sottero had several designs, including this one, that gave a regal and queenly appeal to them while adding sophistication and class.
Colors
White and ivory will always remain classic in the bridal world, however, they need to move over and make room for some color- and not just blush. This Spring we are seeing more shades of gray, blues and even mint greens. Designers like Hayley Paige, who added color to their collections have enabled brides to step outside the box and add their own personal flair to their big day.
Off the shoulder necklines
Brides who are looking for the ultimate romantic and timeless gown may opt for off the shoulder necklines. The beautifully draped off the shoulder gown, adds the slightest touch of bohemian elegance such as depicted here by Jenny Packham.
Brides are opting for convertible aspects to their wedding dress ensemble and this is where capes have made a debut this Spring. For brides who don’t feel that the traditional veil or train is favorable for them but still want to cover up, capes are a lovely alternative. Angel Sanchez incorporated this lace cape, adding some mystique and drama while displaying modesty.
30’s Glam
Runways were full of dresses that glittered, with flowing sleeves, sheaths with slim silhouette’s that really show cased a woman’s figure. Designers were focused on the femininity of the bride while highlighting classic 30’s glam.
